Top 5 Most Under-rated Actors

5. Gary Oldman- Hey he's the man as Commissioner Gordon in the Batman movies. He revised the role as a big character in those movies. He is also a fine Sirius Black in the Harry Potter films.
4. Viggo Mortensen- He played a pretty badass Aragorn in The Lord of the Rings movies. And he was a good Gangster in A History of Violence.
3. Willem Dafoe- He was awesome in Platoon, which he had one of the most dramatic scene in the whole movie. He was good as the Green Goblin. Which wasn't all that great of a movie anyway. But he was good.
2. Val Kilmer- He was the second best Batman behind Christian Bale. He was hilarious in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. He played a good role in Heat.
1. Vincent D'Onofrio- He had the most rememberal role in one of the best war movies of all time Full Metal Jacket. He was funny in Men in Black, and is pretty good in Law and Order: CI.

Top 5 Most Over-rated Actors

5. Shia Lebouf- I mean what can you say about him other than he was in Transformers and stuff. Now he's this big action star yet to live up to his full potential. Give me a break. Even Stevens is no where even to a Tom Cruise or a Harrison Ford.
4. Tobey Maguire- Peter Parker omg, but Spiderman is one of the pussiest superheroes ever. What else has he been in besides those shit movies.
3. Jake Gyllenhaal- The Day After Tommorow, one of the worst movies in the past decade. He was Bubble Boy, and Donnie Darko. And no that doesn't make him versatile, just desperate.
2. Ben Affleck- Daredevil, probably the biggest superhero movie bust ever. Just watch him try to cry on screen, it's hysterical.
1. Nicholas Cage- Whoa, it's Nicholas Cage, like he was in Face Off and Ghost Rider. He should have like 5 oscars by now. J.K. he should just do Ghost Rider vs. Daredevil then just quit acting Forever.

You are Welcome

One of the most original scripts of any Science Fiction movies is awesome in almost any aspect of the movies. You want aliens, you got aliens. You want robots, you got robots. You want bad ass guns, you got bad ass guns. You want it not to be so far-fetched, you got some realism. This is the most entertaining movie I have seen in a while. Videogame-esc is a goog word to decsribe this movie. Some political points in this movie, but not pushy. One of the best movies this summer for sure. A must see for Sci-Fi lovers out there. 4 motherships out of 5 motherships.

My Locker Hurts

My next movie review is the Iraq war drama about a ranger diffusing complicated bombs along side him are two other marines counting their days down in the rotation before they can go home. The movie has a great storyline to it that is very simple to follow. This is very different from every other war movie. It pays attention to one branch of combat with a little taste of straight forward combat. The best scene in the movie is where they stopped to helped another team with a flat tire and end up getting ambushed. This is the most realistic war movie I've seen since 2001's Black Hawk Down. This movie ranks up there with all of the great war films like Platoon, Saving Private Ryan, Full Metal Jacket and more. This is my best reviewed movie of the summer so far followed by Star Trek and The Hangover. To rate this movie I will rate it on number of diffused bombs. This is 4.5 Diffused bombs out of 5 diffused bombs.

In the HEAT of the Moment

For my second entry for scenes from my favorite movies I chose this scene from the movie HEAT. This movie is so good at times at making the scenes as dramatic as possible. The best scene is the shootout in the LA streets after Robert De Niro's team had just finished robbing a bank and Al Pacino's police force had just caught them in the act.

One Actor for each Movie Catergory

Ever had people ask you "If You could be on an Island with one person for the rest of your life , who would it be." A pretty frequent question asked in past time. So I got a little creative and came up with a list of one actor for each movie category to see for the rest of my life.

Action: Christian Bale- Say anything you want about the man, he knows how to keep your attention in a movie without overacting a scene. Best roles= The Prestige, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight.

Drama: Tom Hanks- What more can I say about the guy than he's probably the greatest actor of our generation. He did almost win an academy award for talking to a volleyball. Best Roles= Forrest Gump, Road to Perdition, Saving Private Ryan.

Gangster: Robert de Niro- This was a hard decision for me because I also like Al Pacino to. But, I made my decision and I am sticking to it. "You talkin' to me." The way he stays cool about everything, and yet you still are deathly afraid of him. Best Roles= Goodfellas, Casino, Heat.

War: Mel Gibson- The dude may be an anti semetical a**hole, but he is all talent and effort. He was amazing in his selected war movie roles. He is so passionate in his movie roles. Best Roles= Braveheart, The Patriot, Lethal Weapon.

Comedy: Paul Rudd- Everytime I see Rudd in movies I think of him as Brian Fantana on the air in Anchorman. His very very dry sense of humor makes him hysterical to watch on screen. Best Roles= Anchorman, Role Models, Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

Horror: Jamie Lee Curtis- I love the movie Halloween because she made part of that movie with her screams. She makes the movie more violent and intense just by screaming. Best Roles= Halloween, True Lies, A Fish Called Wanda.

I would have Romance, but not a huge fan of that genre. Sorry.

Open to the public

My first movie review is of director Michael Mann's Public Enemies. I went into this movie with a lot to be expected because of his other works like Manhunter, Last of the Mohicans, Heat, and The Insider. Which all were very well done films. The movie that had been hyped for so long as an edgy crime drama with the great Johnny Depp playing the famous 1930's bank robber John Dillinger, and Christian Bale as Melvin Purvis, an FBI agent hired to catch Dillinger. The movie is as straight forward as can be, meaning no origin of Dillinger that you have to pay attention to in order to follow the film. Which is essentially how Mann does with all of his films. The film was great in making it seem as a realistic as possible, which the film is based off of true events, but he doesn't try and hollywoodize(meaning big budget explosions with action theme to it) it. The best scene of the movie was a shootout scene at night at a house in Wisconsin. After that, the film seemed to drag on a little more than necessary, surprising me of this very talented filmaker. Everyone would expect Johnny Depp to take this film to next level, but never really does. Surprisingly the one would carry this film was the ones around Depp and Bale. Marion Cotillard was a very strong role in the film as well. To rate this film it will be on a scale of 1 to 10, but one being the worst gangster ever or Kevin Federline, and 10 being the best gangster ever or Tony Montana from Scarface. I'll give it a 7.
